Trans-Inclusive Nutrition & Gender Affirming Care.

You deserve a nutrition provider who truly gets it—someone who understands the nuances of gender identity, transitioning, and minority stress.

My practice is built on the belief that trans-inclusive nutrition therapy for disordered eating and chronic conditions should prioritize your safety, comfort, and self-determination above all else. I recognize that the journey of gender affirmation often comes with unique challenges, and I’m here to offer expert support without judgment or shame.

Affirming Your Journey Through Nutrition

Nutrition is deeply connected to mental health and how we feel in our bodies. My role as an LGBTQ+ Dietitian is to collaborate with you to address specific health and well-being goals related to your identity and journey, including:

  • Support for Gender Affirming Care (GAC): I provide compassionate nutrition guidance to support you before, during, and after medical transition (including hormone therapy and surgical procedures). This often involves focusing on adequate fuel, supporting energy levels, and managing health markers related to hormone use.

  • Body Image & Gender Dysphoria: I use a Trauma-Informed Nutrition approach to help you navigate body image concerns and gender dysphoria with sensitivity and care, moving toward a relationship with food and body that feels respectful and affirming.

  • Healing the Relationship with Food: Many folks in the community have experienced weight stigma or restrictive eating due to dysphoria or lack of affirming care. We work toward food peace using a HAES (Health At Every Size) framework, separating nourishment from harmful cultural expectations.

Why Choose an Affirming Provider?

Accessing healthcare is often stressful for the trans and non-binary community. You shouldn't have to educate your provider just to receive basic care. When you work with me, you are choosing a Virtual RDN who is committed to:

  • Respectful Language: Always using your affirming name and pronouns.

  • Understanding Barriers: Recognizing the impact of systemic transphobia, microaggressions, and minority stress on eating patterns and overall health.

  • Collaboration: Providing you with choice and autonomy in your care plan, because you are the expert on your own body and experience.
